Get your software known 25-Feb-2003 -- Susan Pichotta If you allow users to try your software before they buy it, that makes it "shareware". And if your software appeals to a wide audience, like an address book or internet tools, then you probably want to let everyone with a computer know about it. One way to reach potential customers is to list your software at shareware sites. ASP member Mike Asherman has created a new list of shareware sites. Mike's list includes a weighted number showing his ranking of the value of the site. But wait, there's more! After Mike posted the info about his new list, ASP member Ralph Mellor of the Nashville web design firm Digital Impact wrote a wonderful, information filled reply. It's full of notes and tips on submitting software to shareware sites. He also included links to even bigger lists of shareware sites. Click here to read it The above information was originally posted on the ASP's private newsgroups. It is reproduced here with permission.
