Icetips Software is proud to release a new version of our Standard Wizards. This
maintainance release is now the foundation for our Professional Wizards, with several
fixes and a lot of improvements in the Wizard Editor.
In version 1.05 we have made a lot of improvements to the Icetips Wizards. This release can be considered to be the base for the Professional Wizards, so there was a number of things we needed to take a good look at to have a good, solid base for our flagship product.
Changes in the Wizard Editor:
Support for toolbars - you can set icons for each toolbar button - uses standard icons as default. Icons on hidden buttons are now created correctly on browses so popups contain the correct icon. Buttons can be flat or not.
Wallpaper on Appframe Toolbar now supported with Stretch, Center, Tile modes.
Icons and images are now searched for in the paths in the RED file. If found, only the filename is used, if not found, the whole path is used, exactly the same way as in Clarion - you can edit the filenames if you want to, same as in Clarion.
New option in the Picklist window to print the selected Theme file for reference, prints all properties stored in the Theme file.
Setting the Transparent Prompts option is now also used for Options, Radio and Check controls.
The Wizard Editor now automatically associates itself with the .itw file extension. After you run the new editor, all you need to do is double click on the file in Windows Explorer to bring it up in the Wizard Editor.
When creating a new file in the Wizard Editor if you type in the filename the program asks for a directory to place the file in and defaults to the last used directory.
Right click in any image entry field to bring up the full name of the file, copy the full filename to the clipboard or open the file in the program that is associated with the file extension.
Refresh button allows you to refresh all icons and images. Saves a lot of time when changing the image files during design.
When you pick an image or an icon, the Editor automatically opens up the File Selection dialog box in the last directory used to pick images or icons from.
Comes with one completely designed Theme set - blue, with wallpapers for frame, toolbar, browse and form and a complete set of icons.
Changes in the wizard templates:
Wizards now save the last used Theme file and automatically suggest it when the application, browse, form or report wizards are used.
Browse Wizard allows you to pick the keys you want to use (generates tab for each, but this way you can pick which ones)
Browse Wizard has now a quicker way to populate fields, just select in a list.
