Marketing Moments: Join the ASP

The Association of Shareware Professionals Have you ever felt like you needed a little help with marketing your software or services?
 
If you're selling (or intend to sell) software or a service via the internet, do yourself a very, very big favor and join the Association of Shareware Professionals, also known as the ASP.
 
The ASP is made up of people who are involved in selling software (or services) on the internet. ASP members range from the President of Tucows to college students, with the majority being independent, professional software developers. Some of the members are newbies to internet sales. Many have been successfully selling their own software and services for years.
 
The ASP has private newsgroups that rival Clarion's for helpfulness, and the depth of knowledge there is unbelievable. I've been a member since this spring, and I feel that I got my money's worth during the first week I spent on their newsgroups. I've definitely gotten my money back in free software, which is occasionally offered by an ASP member to the membership.
